Garden Capital of Texas Committee Nacogdoches is the Garden Capital of Texas.
The mission of the Nacogdoches Garden Capital of Texas Committee is to educate, engage and inspire Nacogdoches area citizens to become involved in beautifying their community green spaces. Follow them on Facebook for garden happenings, growing tips and information about the annual tour of home gardens.

Nacogdoches County Master Gardeners
The Texas Master Gardener program is conducted by the Texas A&M Texas AgriLife Extension. The organization also provides an enjoyable and worthwhile service experience for volunteers who are trained to help meet the educational needs of home gardeners. The Nacogdoches County Master Gardeners maintain a 7.3-acre demonstration garden on the corner of Main Street and University Drive. Follow them on Facebook for membership and meeting information.

SFA Gardens
From public events to campus learning labs, SFA Gardens maintains 128 acres of public gardens that attract visitors of all ages. If you love gardening or simply love looking at gardens, no matter your experience level or availability, SFA Gardens is full of opportunities to get involved and get connected.
