This home had both a ponding problem along the back porch and a standing water issue next to the side of the home. We fixed the first problem by installing downspout drains by the back porch, along with a small French drain. We even installed a rock bed on top of the French drain to match the other side of the porch. For the side of the home, we graded out away from the house and around the septic tanks and installed new sod to get the water to drain away from the house. The front flower beds had a bit of an issue too, so we installed a small French drain to remove standing water in the flower bed and replaced some shrubs.
