This homeowner has had water in their house multiple times. The exterior grade is about 3’ above slab height and the extensive rains last winter saturated the soils next to the house and soaked through the brick. We excavated to below slab height, installed a French drain with rock up to existing grade, and drained it to the backyard. Now, all surface and sub-surface water will be collected in our custom drainage system to keep their house dry.
